Arts and Minds Canada (AAMC) is committed to supporting mental health initiatives through support and Immersion in the Arts, while pursuing a compassionate vision which broadens the acceptance, recognition and awareness of mental health throughout Canada.

 

AAMC is affiliated with the prestigious and longest running Artist in Residence Program on Fogo Island in Newfoundland, Tilting Artists in Residency (AIR). Tilting AIR's visiting artists proudly donate artwork annually to our Gala Contempoary Art Auction Event, while aiding in and fulfilling our Mandate. AAMC also reaches out to fine artists and artisans of craft throughout Canada along with internationally established artists to contribute their works to our fundraising initiatives.  

Mandate 

Arts And Minds Canada promotes mental health awareness and suicide prevention. The Fund supports this mandate by organizing community events, advocating engagement, education and compassion, in addition to donating to organizations with missions aligned to the Fund’s objectives.

Our Partners  

Arts And Minds Canada (AAMC) is a non-profit organization that has partnered with the Canada Mental Health Association (CMHA) and other mental health organizations with missions aligned to the Fund’s 

objectives. The Foundation is committed to supporting mental health initiatives through support and immersion in the arts, while pursuing a compassionate vision which broadens the acceptance, recognition and awareness of mental health throughout Canada. We are happy to share that we will be supporting Art with Impact (artwithimpact.org) beginning in 2019.

     

Arts And Minds Canada provides support to Fogo Island’s prestigious Artist in Residence Program, TiltingAIR (Tilting Artist in Residence).

     

These visiting artists proudly donate artwork annually to our Contemporary Art Auction Event, while aiding in and fulfilling our Mandate. AAMC also reaches out to fine artists and artisans of craft throughout Canada along with internationally established artists to contribute their

works to our fundraising initiatives.
